The Davis Programs provide tools for the Dyslexic
The dyslexic struggles with confusion
throughout the day at school or on the job. But if the dyslexic
is equipped with the right mental tools, he can easily learn to
manage his dyslexic symptoms. Each of the different Davis
programs offers a concrete set of tools for dealing with his
dyslexic’s weaknesses in reading, writing, math, speech,
attention (ADD), hyperactivity (ADHD) or coordination, while at
the same time nourishing the “gift” of dyslexia.
During the program each client, whether young or old, will learn
about his or her special talents. He will learn HOW he learns
best. So when the program is finished, just about every client
leaves with an enormous boost in self-esteem and confidence.
With a “Yes, I can” attitude!
But remember, the program is just the beginning.
Five days is a lot of time, and not very much time at all. We
can accomplish a lot during these five days. You can expect
significant progress towards your goals by the end of the week.
BUT … the work must go on. Over the next 6-12 months, you will
be expected to continue to master your tools and use them at
school or at work. It will take quite a bit of commitment and
determination for you. So, think of the program as a 1-year
program … with a week’s jump-start!
